2008
Act One Workshop Series: Lord Byron performed by Ian Frost Oct. 18 - 19, 2008 Tickets: $15 per person
Lord Byron's "Lessons In Love", by Bill Studdiford Performed by internationally known actor Ian Frost, Lessons in Love is great fun - a light-hearted evening of theater that has been described by one reviewer as "moving and amusing at the same time." Last year, some of you met Lord Byron, one of England's most famous and original poets, throgh the talents of Mr. Frost. Lord Byron has often been labeledas "mad, bad and dangerous to know," which makes his writing so interesting and colorful. Lessons in Love is Byron's "true" story of young Don Juan. those of you who recall Byron and some of his friends and enemies fromlast year may get a few extra chuckles as you find parallels between this story and his own life. Many swear Lessons in Love is the best shaggy dog story in the world. Byron takes this chance to make his own comments on life, love and the human condition...also pointing out that it's not only the male of the species that is the hunter; ladies can be in hot pursuit, too!

GREETINGS!”
by Tom Dudzick NOV 7 – NOV 30. The plot of Tom Dudzick’s 5-character comedy begins simply enough. A young man brings home his Jewish atheist fiancé to meet his very Catholic parents on Christmas Eve, paving the way for what seems to be a most interesting (and explosive) family occasion. All of this is soon changed however by a truly incredible event that will make all concerned realize that there is a bond between them and helps them realize that instead of focusing and what makes them different and distanced from each other, they must first face the truth of what ties them together. It’s an antidote, not only for pre-holiday anxiety, but for the apathy of modern life. “Greetings!” is a comedy, a domestic drama, a fantasy and the kind of play that comes along all too rarely. Don’t miss it!
(November 2008) Director Talkback, Sunday, November 9th - Join us for a 20-30 minute Director Talkback chat session following the first Sunday performance of each play. It's a great opportunity to meet the director, cast and production team that made it all possible. The director, cast and crew will hang out after the show for a question and answer session. Bring your curiosity and your friends to find out what it takes to get a play to the stage.
