Rhythm and Blues
Ticket cost: $35
Crossroads Band Led by Carl Pruett includes Rick Maxwell formally from The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Jimmy Green and Bob Askew Buckeye Band Alumni and Ben Alford bass. Barry “Mobile Slim” Darnell will be guest artist; Mobile Slim is in The Georgia Blues Hall of Fame. With Crossroads – it’s going to be some great acoustic music, some electric, kinda bluesy and easy goin’ stuff, not too load, and probably if the crowd is just right; a party could break out! Should always be a night of great fun!
- In 2014 Carl was honored with the Georgia Music Legend award for his contributions to music promotion in Georgia, and in 2016 he was given an award by the Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ association for helping create and promote the Blue Ridge blues festival. Also, Barry Darnell form Macon will join Crossroads again for a great evening of blues music and tall tales from the road, on their June 29th show! He too was given a Georgia Music Legend award in 2016. The group performed here in July 2018 to a near sold out house, with 2 sets of music history, some 100 year old vintage guitars, some laughs and great historical blues music. Look for their June 29th show to be similar but with a different era of music covered, and more incredible real life stories from their varied experiences on the road! Get tickets early as this will surely be totally sold out!
