Each of Shakespeare's 37 plays in a two-act 97-minute sprint. The Fourth Wall is nonexistent, and the actors regularly speak to, interact with, berate, hit on, insult, and drag audience members onto the stage. Just as in Shakespeare’s time, cross-dressing is encouraged, there’s always a fool (often 3), and there is no shortage of vulgarity. While the show is scripted, improvisation and crowd work plays a big part in the show and leads to unexpectedly powerful moments.

Casting
3 Actors or Actresses
The cast is composed of three actors or actresses, who typically are referred to by their real name and play themselves, give or take about 30 other characters. The actors must possess both great comedic presence and timing. The dialogue is a mix of Shakespearean and modern vernacular, with much of the modern being improvised. As such, previous experience with Shakespeare or improv, while not necessary, is a huge plus. High energy is a must as all characters are onstage for pretty much the entire show. Physical Comedy and Crowd work are also important elements of the show.
Auditions will be July 31st & August 1st at 6pm, and will consist of reading sides from the script and improvisational activities. The cast has no gender or age specific roles.
