Do you like to MOVE IT, MOVE IT? We do too!
We are so excited to officially announce audition dates, as well as the specifics for every day. Auditions for Madagascar Jr., directed by Jess Westcott, will run from November 6th-10th, 6-8pm. We are looking primarily for actors/actresses ages 10-18.
Monday, November 6th, will be our dance auditions, and we encourage everyone who is thinking of auditioning to come and join the fun. You will learn a brief dance audition to “I Like To Move It” and then perform it in groups for the casting panel.
Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7th and 8th, are our vocal audition days. You will come in and perform a piece from Madagascar Jr. or any other Broadway Musical song that fits your vocal range and shows us what you got!
Thursday, November 9th, will be our day for sides. You will come and read certain parts of the script with your fellow auditionees.
Lastly, Friday is CALLBACK DAY. This day will be used for any leftover auditionees to audition, and it will be a day for the casting panel to call back anyone they need to see more from.
All of these days will run 6-8pm.
Our first rehearsal will be Monday, November 13th.
Note* Everyone may not be cast.
Shows will run January 12th-28th, 2024.
